Our facilities will provide you with a starting point from which you can build your professional career. Employment opportunities vary enormously, and you will be given the opportunity to develop your skills in our purpose built Art & Design studios using Adobe software, and gain practical skills in graphics and digital illustration, fashion and textiles, ceramics, photography, dark room, and general purpose studio spaces.

We fully support your ongoing progression, be that to a next level course, onto HE level courses at university, or equipping you with practical skills and knowledge to enable you to market and promote your work through digital portfolios and gain commissions as independent practitioners.

The creative industry is growing rapidly in areas such as digital design, games design, fashion design, commercial art, health and wellbeing, contemporary art, community art, TV and film industries and 3D design and crafts. This is a multi-billion-pound industry, and the UK is a world leader in many of the above.

Lichfield College is a creative campus housing courses encompassing all areas of the creative industries (art and design, music production, performing arts, Media and games production). This creates an exciting and stimulating environment whilst also enabling exciting collaborations to take place between departments.
