Photography

The photography industry offers an extensive range of employment opportunities from traditional photographer roles in commercial, fashion, or fine art photography, to supporting and commercial roles such as photography retail, image retouching, image laboratory work and printing, and graphic design.

Photography is part of the multi-billion-pound UK creative industries. As a photographer you could be self-employed and run your own studio or work for a company in many different ways such as for social media, news reporting, magazines, weddings and so much more.

Studying photography enhances your creative, social and cultural understanding, while developing your specialist technical knowledge around equipment, techniques and style.
