  • Is this course for you?

    The Energy Efficiency (Part L) training course has been made appropriate to the requirements of plumbers/ heating installers and gas engineers that need to self-certificate their work via one of the Competent Persons Schemes (CPS) and those that carry out work in new and existing dwellings whilst satisfying the requirements for compliance with Approved Document L1.

  • Required qualifications

    Learners should have a minimum NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in plumbing or conventional heating engineering, or demonstrable relevant experience.

  • What skills will I develop?

    Learners will develop knowledge of the requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations.

  • Careers

    You could progress to a qualification in the installation of heat pumps.
