A two-year, full-time study programme designed to give you the opportunity to develop the skills, competencies and knowledge that leads to a successful future in the creative industry, or many industries that require creative talent to support their business or enterprises.
Graphic Design is an extremely broad specialist area, and the course is designed in two parts.
Part one allows you to develop your understanding of the basics of design – composition, image manipulation and creation, composition and layout, typography, advertising, moving image and digital media production, and introduction to the Adobe suite, web design and digital content design, advertising, product packaging and illustration (to include editorial, book and product illustration and animation). Part two will allow you to identify specific areas of interest and develop skills in this area to build a specialist portfolio to support your future progression.

Creative practitioners are defined by two key characteristics. Firstly, taking a creative and reflective approach to their work. Whether developing a response to a client brief or finding an independent creative voice. Creative practitioner’s research, develop and learn by constantly trying out new ideas, solutions and applications for their skills.
The second aspect is their area of industry focus. Many creative practitioners change roles and grow skills over their career, but often develop knowledge and competence in a particular field. People with creative skills can find employment in innovative and dynamic careers.
