Angela is currently Head of Corporate Performance at Birmingham City Council, a post she has held since June 2023. She brings significant experience in strategic planning, performance management, change, and operational leadership within the public sector and Higher Education institutions.
Angela was motivated to become a governor at SSC as she has experienced first hand the transformative power of further education. Following several years of further education and vocational study, Angela achieved an MBA with Total Quality Management specialism from the University of Leicester in 2016.
Angela is a Staffordshire resident and is passionate about reducing inequity in educational and career outcomes for young people across the County.
